Weekend drifted quickly. We weren’t even able to do some serious shopping except for this week’s food supply. Nonetheless, I was able to pick what would be a fun game to play in beaches or any wide open spaces; flying discs! Summer is fast approaching and beaches will be the famous hang-out, I took the chance to grab few pieces.

For only a little over $1 USD, kids and adults will have a grand time running and catching these flying discs. It’ll be a good exercise for the limbs too. Get one for yourself or your kids! It’s a cheap way of having fun!

The old Chicco toy.

It all depends on the kind of toy. The toy above, would you believe is already 30 years old? It belongs to my better half when he was a baby. His mom kept it all these years! Our little one has inherited her dad’s toy from decades ago! The toy was made by Chicco. Wow, that makes me wonder how long has Chicco been in the toy business.

Anyway last Christmas, my baby got a Chicco rattle from her uncle. It’s really durable. I wonder if it will also last for years and if I can still hand it down to my grandchild in the future.

This she got last Christmas.

the colorful lobster

There are all sorts of things to discover with this toy lobster! Each part can be scrutinized by a baby’s inquisitive nature especially for 3-18 months old the package says. But even if my baby is only 2 months old, she’s already enjoying this toy immensely!

The toy can squeak and rattle. The extendable arms can be pulled and makes a rustling sound. The mirror on the reverse side stimulates self-perception.
